Hikurangi Enterprises led by Manu Caddie and Panapa Ehau secured New Zealand’s first government licence to grow medicinal marijuana. The company is based in Ruatoria, a small, rural town on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. With New Zealand moving towards a referendum on legalising marijuana, Hikurangi Enterprises hope to capitalise on this for the betterment of the town’s people, where many are unemployed.
